Our Design Process

  • 1. Initial Contact

During our initial conversation, we will ask you some general questions about the project you are considering. If it sounds like we are a good fit for each other, we will schedule a free In-Home Consultation and we will assign you one of our experienced Designers or Project Managers.

  • 2. In-Home consultation

On the day of the In-Home Consultation, someone from our company will call to confirm the appointment, as well as his or her arrival time. Once they arrive, they will examine the property, take measurements and sit down with you so you can share any of your personal design inspirations and ideas.

  • 3. Designs & Bid

If all goes well on the first meeting, your assigned Designer or Project Manager will work up a detailed design and estimate for construction costs, along with a projected time, and meet with you again to go over the project. Once plans are approved, and our contract is signed, we can begin the work. We will get you on our calendar. By this point, we will guide you through the process and will help you select the finished materials in the order of priority, based on the construction phases. This is truly the time where our Design-Build-Homeowner partnership begins.

  • 4. Pricing & Payment

At the beginning of every project, we require a down payment of 30%. This money is used to secure your place in our schedule and is used to begin ordering your materials and securing permits, if needed. The rest of the payments are tied to clearly visible milestones, which are indicated in the contract.

  • 5. Getting Started

Few things are as frustrating to homeowners as stalling an underway project because of missing materials. Because of this, your personal Project Manager will never start a project until all of the selections have been made and materials have been ordered.

  • 6. Wrapping Up

We pride ourselves in keeping a clean and safe work environment. We constantly go through the job site to make sure the interior and exterior workspaces are as clean as possible. This allows for you, the homeowner, to feel safe walking through and inspecting our progress. It also helps to keep your neighbors happy with us all. When we are finished, our goal is to leave no signs that a construction company was ever there at all. Your complete satisfaction with our work, and with our service to you, is our main priority. We are not happy, unless you are happy.
