Every hotel carpet will need a deep clean.
Every hotel manager knows that carpet is an investment. Making carpet last requires regular cleaning and maintenance. Clean carpets will last longer and keep guests comfortable and coming through the doors. At satintouch, we provide deep stain cleaning to the hospitality industry in Duluth and the Twin Cities. Our service is thorough and professional—satintouch is a name you can trust.
Carpet Requires Regular Service
High traffic carpet requires regular service to remain clean and prolong its life. Frequent vacuuming is a must, and the most used areas of the floor should be vacuumed daily at least. Stains should be targeted as quickly as possible after they appear. Blot liquids with a dry towel, but do not scrub! Scrubbing can cause the contaminant to seep deeper into the carpet.
While a light-traffic area may require deep cleaning as rarely as once a year, heavily used portions of carpet may require a quarterly or even a monthly high performance hot water extraction. Hot water treatment can do wonders for a dirty carpet, pulling up most of the grime that weeks and months of tracking feet have deposited. What water can’t handle, a high-quality carpet soap usually can, putting a finishing touch on a carpet cleaning. A hotel that wants good mileage from its carpet have a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule and stick to it. The best way to stay on track is to hire trustworthy carpet professional who can be there when you need them.
Spot Cleaning
Having a diverse cast of guests coming through the doors often means a diverse array of stains. Guests are not always going to rush to the hotel staff after a spill to ensure timely treatment, and some spots may escape notice for days or weeks. Fortunately, a professional cleaner can often do a great deal to reduce staining even after the damage has been done.
Different kinds of stain require different kinds of treatment, or sometimes combinations of treatments. To treat an unknown stain, a cleaner has to carefully test likely products to find an effective solution. A one-size-fits all carpet spray simply isn’t going to do it. Deep stain cleaning requires someone who is familiar with the kinds of stains that are common and the best methods for dealing with them.
The best place to go for carpet services in Duluth, Minneapolis, and St. Paul is satintouch. We can provide regular cleaning service that will prolong the life and maintain the appearance of your carpet. By investing in your carpet now you will save money in the long run and maintain revenue by satisfying guests with a clean and comfortable space.
Update your hotel with Design & Rehab
A clean and appealing hotel room is key to keeping guests under the roof each night. Like all living spaces, hotel rooms begin to show signs of wear and tear over time, and hotel managers need to be aware of the impact this has on the experience of their guests, their reviews, and ultimately their revenue flow. A professional cleaning and remodeling can go a long way to improve guest experience. satintouch is here to serve the hospitality industry by providing quality, professional rehab and cleaning services in Duluth and the Twin Cities.
Hotel Design & Rehab
According to a study by hotelnewsnow.com, hotels that experience declining ratings may experience a spike in positive ratings after a renovation. Not surprisingly, the spike in ratings was also correlated with a spike in revenue. This is hardly a surprise. Guests want to feel like they are in a clean and safe space, and a room that shows obvious signs of wear is likely to give the impression of being well-used.
While lobbies and common areas need to stay clean and fresh to bring customers in, the bedroom is the center of the hotel experience. A guest who isn’t comfortable in the space where they sleep is unlikely to visit the hotel again. A comfortable bed, some blackout curtains, and a quiet soundscape go a long way toward improving the stay for the average guest.
Interior Painting
Painted interiors can provide a tasteful and clean atmosphere for guests—provided the walls are clean and the paint intact. If walls are starting to show signs of wear, it may be time for a new coat—and perhaps time to consider a new color. Paint is also affordable and easier to change with changing styles and tastes than other interiors, like wallpaper. Although paint can chip, it can be easily touched up.
At satintouch, we provide services to hotels that cover the whole course of remodel and design. Our professionals can lift the burden from hotel managers by providing remodeling and deep cleaning a hotel room, including repairing damaged dry wall and applying a new coat of paint. Our other services, like deep carpet cleaning, will leave the room feeling fresh and clean, and provide guests with a hotel experience that they can remember fondly. Our careful and reliable work make us one of the best choices for hotel rehab and design in Duluth, Minneapolis, and St. Paul.
Finishing Touches at the Construction Site
A quality drywall installation and a well-applied paint job are investments that will pay for themselves over the life of your property. A mismanaged installation can lead to popped walls and costly repairs in the future. You may think you can save money by doing these projects yourself, but you won’t save time, and in the long run you may end up losing more than if the job were done professionally.
A Professional Drywall Installation
Installing dry wall is a job that requires precise measurements and specialty tools. Drywall is a delicate material, but it needs to last if the property is going to last. Improperly installed drywall can crack or come loose from the stud, devaluing the property or incurring repair costs.
Misplacing the seams can lead to weakened walls and drywall tape coming loose. Lack of care with drywall mud can lead to contamination and prevent a smooth finish on seems. There will be hundreds of nails or screws to drive, and driving one of them too far can break the surface paper and lead to the wall popping. Hanging pieces in the wrong order can be a headache and slow an already time-consuming process to a crawl.
Anyone can hang their own drywall, but why not trust a professional to do the job? A drywall worker who knows the craft can come in and do a job efficiently and with minimal error, freeing you to focus on other concerns with the property and giving you peace of mind about the quality of the product.
Post-Construction Painting
Post-construction painting isn’t as easy as throwing up an accent wall. Every new wall and ceiling surface in the property needs primer and paint, and it needs to be sanded and cleaned before these things go on and between coats. With baseboards, door frames, window sills, and cabinets, there is a lot of room for error, and even a few misplaced dabs of paint can make a whole room look sloppy. That’s not to mention that the hazards of dealing with the fumes of paints and paint thinners and the hassle of proper disposal.
And don’t forget the post-construction cleanup. Both drywall installation and painting can leave behind a mess. Professional services like those provided by satintouch not only make your property look new, but they can leave it looking clean by providing cleaning in addition to installation and painting. There are lots of places for the dust and grime of construction to hide—trust the professionals to hunt them down.
